Grainly Foods is a Swedish brand. We offer unparalleled Scandinavian taste, comfort, and sustainability through our carefully crafted recipes. But our quest does not end with just making meals. We want to take your happiness to the new heights and will soon offer personalized nutrition advice and individual meals. Grainly meals are for all types of explorers. Maybe you spend your days and nights in the mountains. Or perhaps you prefer the comfort of your couch. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Grainly foods is great for all occasions!
How to prepare a Grainly meal?
It's very easy to make a Grainly meal. You will need: a spoon, some water, a stove or a heater, one or two hands, some attention.
First, tear the top of the package, above the zip-lock. Open the package and remove an oxygen absorber.
Oxygen absorber is a small square tab which absorbs oxygen inside the pack to preserve the meal.
Then heat the water, about 1-2 cups depending on the meal.
Add the required amount to the pack. You can also make the meal in your own pot. The trick is to add enough water so it covers the dry contents and then just a bit.
Mixing is instrumental to your success. Mix after adding hot water and reseal. Ideally, you should mix again as the water rehydrates the meal.
After waiting the indicated time, tear the package in the middle to make a cup out of it and enjoy the meal!

Great taste is very important to us. All our recipes were inspired by the stunning Nordic nature and warm cozy kitchens. One thing about our meals is that we always search for and use the best spices available to achieve authentic and flavorful dishes. We source local vegetables and other ingredients whenever possible and we don't use any artificial substances to preserve or enhance the food we make.
Some of our meals are spicier, some are less hot. You will find an indication on the front label of every meal.
Sustainable package
We package our meals in a state-of-the-art package. It keeps the food fresh for a couple of years. By the time you are ready to eat it - the package serves as a cup. You can eat directly from it. After use, the package can be discarded in a natural compost. It is certified to disappear in less than 70 days under normal conditions. This is not an encouragement to leave it in the wild!
Grainly package consists of three layers: kraft paper on the outside, naturally compostable film on the inside and a microscopic layer of metal dust in the middle. The kraft paper holds the structure of the package. The naturally compostable film provides a barrier from the outside, that's what keeps the ingredients dry and fresh inside. The microscopic layer of metal dust provides the heat insulation when you make the meal.
Super Light
Dehydration is one of the oldest food preservation techniques. Thousands of years ago Central American civilizations used to put their food high up in the mountains where dry air and hot sun would dehydrate it. After all the moisture is removed from food, bacteria don't proliferate and the natural nutrients don't disintegrate. Therefore, such food does not require artificial preservatives. Aside from being an amazing food preservation technique, food dehydration allows you to have a compact and lightweight meal. You can take it to your office, to the mountaintop or store it comfortably in your pantry.

Grainly Foods is a Swedish brand. The founder of Grainly Foods - Liudas got his inspiration for tasty and sustainable meals while he was hiking the King's Trail or Kungsleden as it's known in Sweden.
Immediately after the hike Liudas started experimenting with various recipes and packages in his apartment kitchen in Stockholm.
As the business developed, with the help of his family and friends, Liudas opened the first Grainly production space near Vilnius, Lithuania.
Since we have a lot of interest from North America, we are now looking to offer faster and more convenient service to North American adventurers by opening a logistics site in the US.
